Rubber Crumb Surfacing

Rubber crumb surfacing from Resin Mill is available in a range of bright and attractive colours, perfect for creating exciting designs in playgrounds, parks and other recreational spaces. The crumb measures 1-4mm, and the colours can also be mixed to create interesting speckled designs.

Resin Mill rubber crumb should be bound with a one-part rubber binder to create a soft tarmac-like installation. We have both a UV Stable and standard binder. Please note that some colours require only the UV binder.

Wet pour rubber is created by mixing EPDM granules and a polyurethane binder. The mixture is poured over the sub-base, spread evenly and levelled by screeding.

The resulting low-maintenance surface helps to make recreational areas as safe as possible for when inevitable bumps and falls take place when children play. It's suitable for all weather conditions and can help to meet critical fall height requirements.

We also supply a black SBR base layer product. This is a 4-7mm granulated product which can be installed directly over a stone sub-base.
