Black SBR 4-7mm is a recycled tyre granulate suitable for base layer applications. This is installed before a wearing layer of either EPDM Rubber Crumb or Rubber Mulchand can be installed directly onto a stone sub-base.
Main applications include:
Base layer for playground surfaces.
Shockpad layer for synthetic sports pitches, generally installed onto a bituminous macadam sub-structure.
Golf course bunker linings.
Land drainage, either mixed with soil or loose filled to improve surface porosity.
Bowling green ditch infill (loose filled).
Colour may vary to photos available so ensure you request a sample for accurate representation before installing.
Black Base SBR 4-7mm requires 10% (2.5kg) binder per bag
Calculate how much of this product you need based on meters squared.
We recommend increasing the total m2 of the area by 5-10% to allow for wasteage and uneven surfaces.
